Plein Air Painting
Bethi Carver has expressed an interest in plein air painting of the farming and delta areas. She has a lot of great ideas of places and subjects. Give her a call to put together some dates. (708-2763)

A Place To Paint is Back in Town

Each Monday from 1:00 to 3:30, A Place To Paint meets in the new Senior Center (next to the water park on Balfour). All artists and whanna-bes are encouraged to join in the fun. This is a good way to keep up you painting and get to know other artists in the area.

Discovery Bay Show and Sell
What a great shjow! 1st Place Winners are: Sam Gill, Pam Brekas and Sue Clanton; 2nd Place Winners are Ann Muench, Barbarb Hansen and Michael Athey. 3rd Place Winners are: Ken Tomlin & Linda Cicala. CONGRATS!!!!! We had a wonderful turn-out and all those who signed the guest book, with their address, will receive a catalog for the Artists’ Open Studio Tour.

She has a packet for us to fill out and she will be adding more and more information as time goes on. She would like a self-portrait of each artist along with photos of your work.   • August 29th & 30th Brentwood Art, Wine & Jazz Festival at City Park put on by Brentwood Art Society. Contact ArtisitsBAWJF@aol.com or fax to 634-3251 for this year’s packet.
  • The Celebration of Art 2009 will be at the Antioch Historical Society from June 13th through July 23rd.
