Survey Results
Thanks to all of you who answered our survey and gave your input and opinions. It was of great help! The most important question to be determined was what time of the day to have the meetings and by popular demand you have selected daytime. And almost everyone indicated they wanted to meet more often so we are now meeting bi-monthly. The dates for 2010 are January 5, March 2, May 4, July 6, September 7, and November 2. We will be giving you a full overview of the survey results at our January meeting.
Past Board Members
The Discover Art League wishes to thank all of the past officers for their duties throughout the past year. These are voluntary positions and each and every one has put in a great deal of time and effort.
So thank you to:
Sue Clanton – President-Treasurer
Ron Beatty – Vice President
Barbara Hansen – Secretary-Newsletter
Samantha Brown – Website Hosting
Louise Massante – Mail Pick Up
DAL Art Contest
The art league will now be holding a bi-monthly art contest at each DAL meeting. Bring your best art to January’s meeting for a chance to win. If you win, your art will be featured on the DAL website and your art will receive special recognition for two months, at which time another contest will take place. Art must have been done in the past year and once you enter a piece it may not be entered again. The winner will be chosen by popular vote.
New DAL Logo
Samantha Brown has offered to create a new logo for the Discover Art League. She will create several logos and bring them to our January meeting for us to vote on. DAL is so appreciative of everything Samantha does for our league in administering our website and marketing us to the world. Thank you Samantha, for all your hard work!
Discover Art League Web Site
If you have not yet set up your web presence on our DAL website you are missing a great opportunity. For a one time fee of $20.00 you can give a bio about yourself and show off your art!
Contact Samantha Brown at 305-7025 or email her at sam@pomegranateink.com for more information.
